Botulinum toxin (such as Botox or Daxxify) is a protein and neurotoxin produced by a bacteria known as Clostridium Botulinum. Tox injection is a non-invasive method of injecting a protein/peptide into the tissues to paralyze and weaken the muscles. • Don’t shave or wax your underarms for a few days before your appointment
• Avoid taking ibuprofen and aspirin for one week before your appointment
• Avoid heavy exercise on the day of treatment (light exercise is fine)
• Steer clear of saunas, hot tubs, or very hot showers until any post-procedure redness fades
• Wear sunscreen with SPF 30+ on the area when you go out in the sun
